What kind of fish is this. Where does it live. What to use to catch it.

I would call that a speckled trout & will research the rest... Pretty sure that they had them in streams in New England, back in the 1970's, but won't swear to it.

ยกAWWWWN'T! (That's the sound of "the TV Game Show buzzer, for a wrong answer) = I see that they live more in the Gulf of Mexico and as far north as Annapolis, in the Chesapeake Bay.

Looks to me like a cutthroat trout. Lives in very cold very clean waters. Use flies, spinners, or traditional live bait to catch!

Is it not a cutthroat strain Charly? Never seen one but the Gila trout are and I thought I had seen somewhere that the two are very similar.

I'd say that they eat the flies from fly fishermen.
They also eat worms and red salmon eggs.

Near as I know. Not a cut. BUT close enough to inter breed. Same with rainbows. That is a great problem.
