That’s one thing I left out. While fishing from a boat, set up a drift with the current. Put your offering down to or just off the bottom. (Maybe a 3 oz. weight +/- at the end of your line, your offering up from that maybe 12-18”, either drag the sinker, or drop it to the bottom and reel up 2-4 cranks.). If you find a hot spot, run back up current and drift through again.
