Yea Wulffy when you share that bottle with Big A remember to do what we did when we were kids. Wipe the top off with the palm of your hands before taking a swig. For added flavor use the palm that held the last fish.

This has been your Covid heath alert notice for the day. LOL

Sorry to disappoint you
gentlemen, but I don't drink
much; the only booze I touched
all week were the two beers with my Mexican dinner on Thursday night ! I presume that he's already
posted some photos, but since I haven't seen them on here yet, I'll put up a fish photo and a little scenery ! Couldn't get the trout photo from Thursday to post, but these are the fish we caught on Tuesday, and the scenery is Groundhog Lake, with Lone Cone
peak in the background !

Nice Big A.
It's good to get away from the crowds sometimes.

No way. He would have to average 80 MPH to make it 470 miles in 6 hours. Peddle to the metal.

I believe the Google map listed it at 430 miles going north from Flagstaff and crossing the top of the Navajo reservation ! The trip back through Gallup, N.M. to
Flagstaff to Mesa was listed at 485 mi./7 hrs.50 min.; I made it
in 7-1/2 hrs. ! (Forgot about the time change - although we're in the same time zone, Colorado
uses Daylight Savings Time,
while Arizona does not !)

Getting away ? You got that
right ! The lake is at 8,870 ft.,
and that peak is about
12,618 ft. ! It's an hour's drive north of Wulffy's house, but we
did see some wildlife while traveling to and from the lake;
on Tuesday we saw a doe and
a yearling (spike-horn) buck on
the way up ! Thursday we saw
a young bear cub on the way up,
then a bald eagle flew over our boat while we were fishing, and spotted another doe crossing
the road while driving back ! He did send me a photo of the two trout I caught, but for some
reason I couldn't get it to post ! Maybe he'll post it and they may come up ! Caught them (and the three I lost) on a 1/4 oz.
Panther-Martin in pearlescent white with a silver-and-white spinner ! First trout I've ever caught on a spinner after
over 50 years of fishing !

Sounds like a good time.
We like to go to Yosemite once or twice a year but with the virus we don't go anywhere. Too old to be taking a chance.

Next big trip will be Kansas next May; now that I have a decent, reliable vehicle, I WILL be taking more day trips to the 'Rim' and Flagstaff area lakes for northern
pike, walleye and trout, though !
Maybe a few bigger trips
following the Spring
'Wing-Ding' ! Rumor has it that there may be a second 'stimulus' check coming; if so, then Texas may be my next big adventure (after next May), followed by a West Coast trip to fish the 'salt' ! Have been up and down the East Coast from Canada to Cocoa Beach, and the Caribbean (although I haven't fished it yet); time to see the other side before
I croak ! (EH ?)

Sounds like good road trips there.
We have lots of short day trips here that we can take. Ocean, mountains, and desert are all one day trips from here. I saw a big horn sheep once driving out to the desert.
