Scorchy here. Grew up in Concord, fished, pro tournaments, guide mostly the Delta, outdoor writer, seminar giver.
Also growing up, coastal rivers and a lot at East Park Res. and Lett's Lake.
Long story ended disabled, retired in Stonyford. I can still get around and fish mostly up there.

Salmon, striped bass and halibut are abundant. Lots of lakes near by for black bass, crappie, trout and pan fish. Sometimes hard to choose where to go and what to fish for. Great bird hunting too.
