Hello all, I was lucky to be able to buy a Shimano Curado CU200 with upgraded bearings from a pro that I used to work with. He has since offered double to get it back. No way. Now I would like another, but finding one isn’t a real expectation. Any suggestions on what is out there new that is similar. Since he is trying to buy it back I am assuming this is a not an easy question
Thanks, love the Stage.

Gee, I have one that I have never used, a guy bought it for me for a tip for building him a rod. Are they any good?
You can get them on eBay for about 180.00. Shimano Curado 200 I series has taken the market by the storm over the past few months. There is just something that is synonymous with bass fishing and the word Curado. The Shimano Curados are probably the most iconic low profile casting reel in the fishing world. Anglers all across the country almost seem to hang on every word when there is talk about a new Curado. But, enter the Curado G Series and the reputation was all but gone. It wasn’t a bad reel but nothing like we had come to expect from the typical Curado. Knowing this was a complete failure, Shimano set out to design, by far, the best Curado that had ever been made. A reel that would restore the public’s confidence in the Curado, as well as Shimano themselves. And I am here to tell you……Shimano knocked it out of the park with the new Shimano Curado 200

They really are good. Not sure how old mine is, but it is very smooth. If you decide to sell let me know. Ebay has some, but I am not sure about buying second hand reels on ebay. I would rather see pictures of fish you catch with it. Get it on a rod.
I use my four for kings in michigan and they have never let me down, $50.00 Bid. LOL
