I would love to hear about what y’all like to use best for panfishing. What’s your favourite go-to? What setup do you use it with? What action do you use it with? What time of day? What do you normally catch on it? I want to hear your experience with your favourite panfishing lure!

Any micro swimbait (I like the Bass Pro speed shad), small swimbait jig head or micro ned rig head, 4lb test Gamma line, any rod and reel that can throw a light setup.

If I’m not using a fly for panfish then I’m either using a jig head with a grub on it or tiny buzz bait

Grubs seem to work really well for me too! And they’re easy to use!

Live worm on a small hook. Couple of split shots and a bobber. If they're eating bugs off the surface, then the tiniest cork poppers will fill your bucket.
A 1/8 oz chatterbait with a beavertail plastic, colors change, and I try to give them what they want. Now it is a silver with a black back, much like a shad. Set up on a light weight rod and spinning reel, with braid. We have a lot of stick and branches, bushes, and tree roots, and I use 10 lb to pull out of them.
I'm with walterh3 and the trout (or Panfish) magnets. Put two of them on the line about 18-24 inches apart with (or without) a Gulp Waxie, cast it out and add an occasional tug-tug or even slow troll them and catch a variety of panfish. Good luck!
I used to have some 1/8 oz jigs with silver tinsel on it. Called tinsel tail, I think. Great for crappie and gills. Ended up losing all of them, haven't found any since. 😒
