I'm in Long bea,ch also, sorry to hear about your back I know what your going through I've had 7 spine surgeries in the last 25 years and not going fishing because I hurt too much has happened way too many times, let me know when your feeling better the yellowtail will be heading up this way soon.

In that picture I weighed 220 and that fish is twice my size, here's another pic it shows its size a bit better. My brother and I are both over 200 lbs

It's a blue marlin its amazing how bright their color is when you first bring them on board

I'm with you there Saw he may both of us the warm water is headed our way got a big coastal eddy pushing up from the south, won't be long now and the bite will be wide open
