I believe that weather you are a die hard fisherman or just weekend fisherman, we all have stuff we want. Weather it's a specific rod and reel, boat, or an extravagant fishing trip, or a trip you have been on but want to go back to ,somewhere down the line we have all thought about it. Some of you have retired and gotten to make that dream a reality. Myself being 37 years old, am still chasing the dream. My dream is to own a small cabin in the mountains of Tennessee with a nice boat and kayak ( the kayak is the part of my dream I get to live right now). I would also love to own a Lew's Pro TI combo to join all of my other Lew's combos. So my question to you all is. If money wasn't and issue, what is your dream?

My dream is to be completely pain free and to be able to see, hear and breathe perfectly. Hell I'm only 59. It's also a reality that it's never going to happen. So I'll make do with what I've got. Besides, God has a plan for me.

Yeah Drew your right, a post isn't enough for man to speak his dream. I probably should have put an emphasis on it about fishing. But congrats on her walleye! That's an awesome experience when they get so excited about something like catching a fish. It's always worth it to me to see the look in my kids eyes of excitement even if it's something as small as a bluegill.

Aaron, at 36 your dreams can still happen no problem but your dream has to have a plan. Plan out and set your goals high, the higher your goals the better chance you'll have getting close. for a long shot marksman aims high, aim high you just might hit the bulls eye Figure out what you want out of life and then set a plan for how to achieve those goals. If you work hard toward those goals it can happen for you.

My dream would be taking lessons from a pro fisherman, guide whatever. Also to go back to Dale Hollow Tennesse to Holly Creek Dock (if it is still there). Renting a cabin then getting up early to go fishing on that beautiful lake. Maybe I could even rent a houseboat to stay on there for a week. It would bring back alot of my favorite memories.

My inlays rented a houseboat on Dale for a week once many years ago, we had a ball. With my bass boat in tow we saw a lot of the lake, pulled up on a different beach every night and fished for Trout and Smallmouth and caught a bunch. Nothing like a fresh fish on the grill straight out of the lake. Dale Hollow is a beautiful lake and one of the few around me with no private docks or homes on the lake shore. Holly Creek was still there two years ago, last time I went there.

When I was there the last time, was right before I got married. It was in the early 60s (the year?). My mother & I would drive to the closest town - Celina, TN. We would go to the drive in movie. It was a small town. There wasn't much else to do in the town, but I wanted to get back to the cabin we rented so I could get up early to go fishing. That's my dream vacation.

Well I'm 78 yrs old and don't have any health problems at all. I have been weed eating my own grass - it's mostly hilly and don't mind the work, but maybe worry about falling.
Sorry you're not feeling well, maybe later on things will be better.

Celina is a very small town, last time I was there even the Hospital had closed but they still had two liquor stores. I fished the Billy Westmoreland invitational Smallmouth tournament the first week in December for over 20 years out of Horse Creek. Still get an invitation every year but can't get a partner interested in fishing that time of year

Hey, Aaron, from Arlington;
If money was no object, I think I might at least once, do the research & find out who's gonna take me out to the Gulf Stream and catch a bluefin tuna on a rod and reel.
