If u could only take one lure to fish with in the lake or river of your dreams to fish for bass, what would u take and where would u take it? Seems like a good informational question for a want-to-be bass fisherwoman from Fl. panhandle to ask, lol.

Hello, well if I had to eat and needed food a rubber worm all ways works. But your in FL.so I would throw a Zara spook or rubber frog. I live in northern California and when it is cold I have to use jigs . Or worms my favorite lures are top water whopper plopper Zara spook if we had weeds we don't weedless frog .

I have two choices....One would be a texas rigged 8 inch purple worm early morning in the Harris Chain of Lakes near Orlando Fla. My next choice would be a Lucky Craft Pointer "suspending" crankbait in Lake Guntersville Ala. Both could net you a ten-plus pound largemouth. Good luck Jodie. Send in some pix!!

That is actually a common question. Welcome to this humble forum. If I could only take 1 lure to 1 river or lake it would be a frog pattern Rattlin chug bug & I'd take it to Rainey lake in Ontario. That's my final answer, today. Tomorrow I would probab,y answer differently. Thanks for joining & tight lines.

Welcome jodie. A white or yellow strike king spinner. On Clear Lake in California. Check it out. Legendary. As well it should be. While there I would try my hand at landing a 20 or so pound channel cat. They're in there too.

That's not as easy to answer as it sounds at first tap. This is my 4th attempt, every time I start I think of another lure and another place!

I would have to say a Black/Blue Jig on Toledo Bend. That did the trick a couple years ago for my PB. She was 11#+, can't say for sure on her weight because we took a few photos and turned her loose so she could go back to more romantic pursuits!

Those fish have seen the whole buffet we have to offer. Myself,I don’t know. Maybe a blast from the past. I lean toward a devils horse.

An in line spinner, which is an “all” species lure, would be my choice. I’ve caught everything from bluegill to barracuda on them.

Howdy from East Texas. If I could only have one and was hungry I would go with either a 4" purple curly til worm with a red tail rigged Texas-style or a 2" chartreuse grub. For fun, I would go with a Zara Puppy in frog color or a Chartreuse and white buzz bait. For durability and long term use I would go with a double spinner Chartreuse and White H&H spinnerbait or a gold 1/4-1/2 oz rattle trap.
