My wife and I went late today and fished a couple of hours after dark. Caught 1 small one but heard the surface blow up 20 yards or so ahead of our boat 3 different times. This lake is known for bass in excess of 12 lbs. my heart raced.

Part of my concern here is that within a day of creating the closure they started talking about extending it. Our shrimping season begins in May. I'd hate to miss that for sure. Mister twister, I enjoy breathing as much as the next guy, but I can do that while the line is wet without hurting another living soul including me :-) All the best to all of you!!

gregumar1,I do understand,I really do. I wish you and yours the very best and you with hopefully a shrimp season. The breathing thing,yeah a bit overboard,hopefully,but the worst is yet to come I’m afraid. Be safe my friend.
