This is an honest to goodness true story. My wife, daughter & the 3 granddaughters went to Tulsa christmas shopping. It was dark when they walked from the mall to their car. As they were getting in the mini van a car with 2 African american males pulled in next to them. My wife decides the 2 guys looked suspicious & were looking her & the girls over too close so she pulled the pepper spray out of her purse. Yes, she hit the trigger & filled that ford full of high concentrate pepper spray. Momma, daughter & 3 granddaughters exited the van coughing, snot running, eyes burning & screaming. They ran back into the mall to the bathrooms. It took them a half hour to return to the van which they left unlocked & doors open keys in the ignition with everyone's purse still on the seats. Standing guard over the van & plunder until they returned were the 2 African american guys that had pulled up beside them. Not only did the guys stand guard they opened the rear hatch so the spray would hopefully leave the van. I would never have told something like that on myself but my wife blurded it out at church the next day. It was at least 3 weeks before people quit laughing at her. I knew better than to laugh.
