My prayers, OZ. When do you have the surgery scheduled?

Not yet but have knee replacement soon.

Bottomcoon has assured me I can do it.

You CAN do it! I made it thru mine, and I’m a wuss (or so says my wife)......
Just don’t slack on the PT.

You’ve got this Oz. It’s not a cake walk, but it’s nowhere near as hard as recovering from shoulder surgery. I just got back from having lunch with my best friend from when we were 10. He had both his knees replaced eight weeks apart about three months after I had both mine done six weeks apart. He’s right at a year since the second one. We’re both doing great and happy we had it done. Next year at this time you’ll be several months pain free and happy you did it.

Glad to hear the left is next.

Shoulda married a bankers daughter.

Funny you mention that the last shoulder repair she didn't want me to go to pt she didn't want them tearing it up, said just do these exercises at home and don't push it.

Thanks the Dr.s and Nurses could probably use some.

My PT was a good friend from our church. He was a semi-retired PT and lives 10 minutes fro me. He actually came to my house the first 2-3 weeks till I started driving again. Then I went to his house to finish the PT. He did it all for free too. A great guy. Wouldn’t take a dime.

Thats GOD watching over you.

And it is a small world about 5 years ago the pt I had with my first rotator repair started going to the church I attend.

No doubt a God thing. As soon as he heard I was having my knee replaced, he said if my Dr. would approve it, he would do my pt for me.

I've had both mines done, great shape now,but you'll be imobile for a while.plan on having house help...getting in and out of bed/up and down from the chair, including the toilet....don't let it get you down,it pays off in the long run....bed for a few days/walker for a few weeks/then walking stick/then physical therapy (very important to full leg use again)....they gave me 'norco' for the pain/good luck me' Lad!
