Wow I wish I could fish that much. I retired 2 years ago and seems like I fish less than when I worked. As soon as this weather breaks I plan to do a lot more

No. The topic title isn't about what you guys might be thinking about when you aren't fishing, eating or watching a game.

Just curious. How often do you go fishing in a week, a month? I realize weather determines this depending on where we live plus other factors.

This site has users from all over the U.S. Give me your best guess. Could be some interesting stats.

Hi, ghaynes1
I live in northern Wisconsin. Needless to say, we have ice 5 months out of the year. I fish at least two days a week except for the month of July. Fish don't cooperate then. Hope this helps with your survey. As someone else says, "Tight lines".

In the summer I usually go 2 or 3 times a week in the evening after work. Summer I get every other Friday off I try to go on those days. Winter, I ice fish every Saturday I can convince someone to go with me. Spring and fall when the days are short Iā€™m lucky if I go twice a month.

Schancer - I spent most of my life in WI. Spent summers at grandparents cotttage outside of Eagle River. Grandfather taught me how to fish. Where do you live? What lakes do you fish? Just curious.

Ghaynes1,
I live in Hayward on the Namekagon River. I believe I've fished most lakes within a 50 mile radius. Have a friend in Minocqua so have fished several lakes in that area, too. Always take breakfast at the Wolfpack Cafe in St. Germain. Beautiful area as well. I've been retired for 28 years now after being in. education for 40 years. I'm 74. Hope that helps answer your questions. Best of luck getting out there to fish.

Thanks. Beautiful area. Long winters. Been to Minocqua many times. Been to Wolfpack. Fished St. Germain. Fished Woodruff area. Love that area in the summer. Spent time in Rhinelander. Cottage was on Chain Lake. Connected to Sand, Dam and Echo Lakes about 8 miles out of Eagle River. Good crappie and walleye fishing. An occasional Musky. Caught a lot of northerns there too.

Excellent. It's good to connect with all the folks on this site, but especially those folks who know your area. Thanks for your response.

Since I moved back North, go out 4-5 times a week, when it's not cold. Only about 3 hours a day
