Just curious - How often do you ...
Depends on what the wife wants to do sometimes I will go 6 or 7 days a week about 4 hours a day some weeks I will go 2 times that is one of the perks of living next to a lake and being retired

If I lived closer to the water, LIKE 800 FEET , to the boat ramp. I would fish a lot more than I do. I'm sure my wife is glad about that. As it is I usually fish close to 100 days a year and I take Sept off to go to Texas so that month doesn't count. I hunt and or fish nearly everday then.
Numbers and comments are coming in. I better start that chart soon.
50* and above no wet weather I try for every other day.

Like Randy, I usually fish for 8 hours when I go. So when I get up and when I'm putting the boat away it's quiet often from dawn to dusk. I don't like putting the boat and all my gear away in the dark.
I keep a headlamp in my truck and in my tackle bag for those days that I start a little early or fish a little too late. I am occasionally afflicted with that “one more cast” disease. LOL

Unfortunately, an affliction that seems to have no cure for us Randy.

Ain't that the truth. If I'm by myself it can be really bad. At least when I'm with someone else, I always just try to go along with however long they want to stay on the water. Not many people would want to stay as long as I do.

Same way with me except when I fish with my son. He’s the one person that may actually like to fish even more than I do. He could fish all day AND all night!! I guess that’s my fault; I taught him ....
And he always outfishes me.😠

Plus when we go together, we usually take HIS boat instead of mine.

Alright Randy. How fortunate you are to be able to fish with your boy. Enjoy ever minuet. He will especially treasure them in his latter years.
Hey randy, glad to hear you headlight fish. Think your within your legal rights. I headlight geese when they fly after dark with a 22 mag. It’s ok though, they’re safe.

Hey MT, I wouldn't be postin things like that if I were you. After shootin light , with an artificial light and with a rifle. Just sayin.

I know that is true. Some of my favorite memories are those when my dad and I went fishing. We fished together from when I was a toddler till Dad’s health got too bad for him to go anymore. He even took me on a week long fishing trip to Minnesota once when I was about 13 yo. Great memories!! I was about 14-15 when he took me to the “strip pits” the first time. Now my son and I go there for a week every year. Awesome times.
