Well I'm kinda bummed. I ordered a lamiglas casting rod from Amazon and it arrived today. It's a spinning rod. Looks pretty nice, but the rod I ordered had a picture of a casting rod. Sending it back, but I was planning on taking it tomorrow. Oh well. Won't spoil my day.

Maybe you should keep it AND order another rod anyway.

You know I thought about that, but I was kind of leary of ordering it because I've not had good luck with Lamiglas rods. Now this. I think it is an omen and wasn't meant to be, so it's going back. It was a pretty good deal, 100 dollar rod on sale for 70. I ordered a rod from Cabela's, a Fish Eagle I believe for about the same price, it should work out ok, they have some pretty nice rods for the price.

Planning on it. I sure hope this weather holds and that the wind dies down some. It's been pretty breezy over here. Just need to settle on a lake.

It’s the language barrier Spirit. They probably think you can cast bait with any rod... so it still fits the description. I would be torqued for sure. We have Fisherman Marine Supply here. They have enormous selection for purchasing rods. I mail ordered some rods once and was let down.... but I think they sent me what I ordered. I just bit on a low price. Lamiglas are very high quality equipment. I am pretty sure lifetime warranty. I don’t have any because I always see 180 or higher prices on them.

Well I looked for a light power casting rod and that's what came up, with a picture of a casting rod with the trigger handle. As I said, I've had bad experience with them, but that was a while ago, so I'm willing to give them a second chance. Just don't need another spinning rod right now.
