I fish in wet cold weather a lot. My tackle is in Plano boxes and in my boat lockers, but my hooks still get rusty. Any good ideas how I can keep this from happening? Thanks

Desiccant... dries z air... wipe everything. Small fan or heater even a 60 W light bulb Or even a 40W bulb. On a timer during darkness... create heat or draft...

I'm not Tom ,dick, or Harry. Where you at man.lol. you can try coated hooks, stainless if possible. Or to keep the moister out. You know them little pouches that come in alota stuff we buy.?? They absorb moisture from hot to cold climate change.i get the ones out if the jerky bags I buy for snacks to go fishing.

I'm with you on the pill bottles. Some of mine come with the Desiccant in them. Works great.

They use to make a little paper type thing about the size of a band-aid. I bought a bunch of them for just a few pennies and put them in all of my tackle boxes. I couldn't tell if they worked or not. I didn't buy anymore.

A piece of ordinary chalk put in your hook container or box will work. I use it in my tool boxes as well.

The pill container is a good ideal.
I glue a hook on the cap so that I know what type and size it is. Also works for swivels and other small items.
