Good point sir! Still, I would not be comfortable wading in the Amazon. For a whole lot of reasons, but not least of all the thought of a tiny little catfish.
Id be scared too . That Ed Stafford walked the lenghth of the Amazon. Look him up if you hadnt heard of him. Interesting guy. He must be fearless. He has some shows on netflix I think where he does survival

lol I take too many medicines , mosquitoes hardly bite me
Is that what it is? They drive my wife nuts and barely trouble with me unless I'm out by myself. She's healthy as a damn horse and I take 9 pills dutifully every morning.
I think it may be , ttyl offf to the eye doctor

Dang Spirit. Hope you get your meds from the Gov bein retired and all. My huntin buddy is retired AF and he takes bout that many at night and that's why he has a hard time getting goin to early in the morning. Guess I'll just be thankful I'm as healthy as I am, just deaf.
Well they're not free, but they are pretty cheap. Of all the crap that's gone down since the present administration took office, that's about the only thing that I can think of that has really affected me. My meds used to be free. Now they're not. Is there a correlation? I got no idea.

That just ain't right. I thought y'all got all your meds and Dr. stuff for free. I can't believe a retired military guy has to pay for any of that stuff.

Maybe you could protect
yourself by covering 'junior'
with a 'raincoat' ? (LOL !)
The only thing that's free is my supplemental insurance, tricare. Which is the absolute best supplemental insurance you can possibly have. My primary insurance is medicare, and whatever it doesn't cover, tricare does. No co-pays, no deductibles. Medicare costs me and the wife a little over 200 bucks a month. Just like everyone else. And tricare picks up most of the tab on meds. Like I said, not all. Generics are like 5 dollars. I take a fairly new drug for diabetes and I pay like 80 bucks or so for 90 day supply. If not for tricare that would be in the thousands. I'm not complaining. Smartest thing I ever did was stay in the military if for no other reason than the medical benefits.

I read somewhere that the natives tie a string around it. Good alarm clock. Time to come in when it starts turning ourple. Everyone out of the pool!
Have wade fished in Lake Moultrie in SC for 25 years seen number of moccasins but none bothered us
Consider yourselves exceedingly fortunate ! I, for one, would not care to press my luck to such an extent; it's bad enough already - such a fool-hardy act would be tantamount to shooting myself
in the foot - REPEATEDLY !

Which I might really do if one came close enough to me and I had my pistol.
Hopefully, THAT'll never
happen - to ANY of us !
That'd definitely earn someone
the 'Darwin Award' !
