Hang in there Denny. Just believe in you. Women weren't wired to figure out. If they were there would be a manual. Find you someone that doesn't require a psychiatrist or councilor. Take the time to find you sir.

Denny - rod & reel for Christmas. Yes sir I did. And I haven't really had a chance to use it for what I bought it for, which is going to the coast and surf fishing. I did catch a dandy trout with the reel - see my post "the old man and the fish". I took the rod and reel trout fishing, just to see how it casts, and I was pretty happy with it. Going to the coast sometime in the next couple of months, and I will let you know.

Yes. Abu Garcia Ambassdeur 4601. That's the smallest of that series of reels. You might want to take a look at the 5500 C3. I'm not a very experienced baitcaster guy, but I haven't had a bit of problems with backlash with it. Very nice right out of the box.

Hey Denny. I may be late in commenting here but you have to be who you are. Vulnerable, not vulnerable, whatever. Who knows what is going on in your wife's head. These situations are always tough because you have history with her. Good and bad. Be who you are. Value yourself. Being open and caring isn't a weakness. Stand tall. You will be alright. Don't compromise who you are for someone else. I hope you find peace. May the Lord hold you in the palm of his hand.
