Thought I would tell this one.
You are right OJdidit. Unfortunately, here in east TN, the bears usually get the short end after there has been an incident involving people.

Why did you wait so long the Winchester was propped up against the crib.
Sad to see ghaynes1, but Yogi and Boo Boo did them a disservice back in the day. You’re not in Jellystone Park.

Back to the rat business. Once in Texas my two girls were with me walking down a small rocky incline and came upon a mouse that ran under a piece of roofing tin. I reached down and picked it up. Out ran a mouse, so I started stomping at it. Got the thing. My oldest daughter said, dad, I wanna do that. Can I, please. So I picked up another piece of tin and by golly another one jumped out. I told her to behave and watch out, they will run up your britches leg. I had no idea that that was gonna happen, but it did. Funny thing to watch a young girl come outta her britches in such a hurry. Another time here in Mississippi, my wife and a friend were looking at an old hit and miss engine in the woods. The engine had a honey bee’s nest in the bottom. When we got every thing cut and cleared away we started moving it with a chain and my pick up truck. Low and behold, the bees started swarming out from the bottom. We started running and my wife, bless her sole, screamed out. Don’t look, I am gonna get out of these britches. She did too. Right there in the edge of the woods too. She had bee stings all on her legs. We still saved the engine and had a good time.
