Last friday me and my buddy went back to the canal we been fishing in. He caught a 6 pounder !! I think scale read 6.12. Very surprised, happy for him ,, but dang I want to catch one that big now :)

6lbs of nice there. Hang in there bankstalker. I have been getting pics from my neighbor the last few weekends of him nailing some big trout on occasion. Yesterday I had him so jealous with my catch of 2 each 21" trout and 2 each 17". Just got to wait it out your turn will come.

we caught a bunch of good fish , some big tilapia and 3 bass over 2. but that 6 pounder was so unexpected.
the weather was just right they were fightin more than usual for some reason. esp the tilapia , I caught a nice cat too, ill post pic latrer

We don't weigh around here its all about the inches for some reason. You know like bigger is better or something. He showed me a 21", 20" and a fat 18" the last few weekends. My two 21" has him taking off work early this coming Friday.

Someone on here awhile back had a math formula to figure out weight at one time.

that 6 was only 16 long , Im pretty sure , Ive caught longer , but no over 4lbs

you might try fishing that same spot again
may be a bigger one hangin round there

looks like she was maybe full of eggs stalker
maybe someone knows how much a belly full of eggs would weigh--I dont
but that's prolly one of the reasons why she was heavier

ok heres a pic,, this one is on the large side
