I was a high school junior the last time the Chiefs played in the Super bowl. I remember the principal giving us permission (along with teachers !) to "skip out" at about.11am, so we could get downtown for the parade at noon. He later said to the parents, when questioned later, he did so because he knew we would skip anyway, so saved us making excuses and...."if I can go...which I did, by the way...why not the kids ? Cool guy, that Dr. Ludwig !!! Fifty years ago ???....damn...hey wait a minute....does this mean I am old ???? In that regard, I thank my lucky stars I live in "obliviousness" of the fact ! Go Chiefs !!!
