Hoppy was my guy. Got a Hoppy outfit with boots and everything when I was about four. Got a picture of me in it somewhere around here. I told my granddad that I wanted boots for Christmas and he said he was gonna get me a doll. Well, that didn't sit. So when I opened the package (with boots in it) there was a Raggedy Andy doll on top of the boots. I chucked it across the room. The doll was hand made by my grandma, the red hair was from a sweater her brother had worn over in Europe during WWI. Don't know whatever happened to those boots. I stilll have the doll.
