It is a small world, donā€™t know how many small world experiences I have had in my lifetime but itā€™s been a bunch. I was in Fort Polk La in 1969 in boot camp, got to have a free day one week sat down on a picnic table at the px looked at guys name tag next to me and asked him a couple questions and come to find out we were cousinā€™s first and only time we ever met.

I thought that four letter word, w--k, was for people who don't know how to fish. I try to stay as far away from that as I can.

Quick shout out to all of forum fishermen AN women. Have really enjoyed reading all your postings. Sad to say I moved to central part of state TWO years ago an havenā€™t fished yet. Missing my fishing partner(son) an just canā€™t get motivated. Lived in central Illinois for better part of 50 yrs an pretty much knew where an when to go. Here not so much. Maybe chatting with you all will be what I need!

If you like to catfish from the bank: take an afternoon at Falls Creek Falls, behind the lodge, real early springtime or anytime after three-four days of good sunshine. No private boats allowed, but you can rent a jonboat cheap. Also, get over to Normandy. Bass there are good, catfish, stripe, bream, crappie, etc. every kind of bottom and structure, points, drops, coves. If you like trout, go to Caney Fork R., below Centerhill Dam. Tight lines.

Beautiful place. I played golf there in the 80s with my brother in law. He lives in Sparta. Walked the trails to the top of the falls. Thanks JustRight. Brought back some memories .

I live in WV but used to go to Dale Hollow TN every year to fish. It was a huge lake & I heard some record fish were caught out of there. I think it was small mouth bass.
