Mom and Dad may be to blame. Give the kids everything and expect that wherever they go its owed to them. Everybody gets a trophy. So WRONG!!!!

I wish I could go back to the 1950s when everything was still correct instead of politically correct, things where cheap, you could make a living farming most people were still decent instead of the few, Cars where better and a lot cheaper, as well as cheap gas, the kids had respect, it was a better life.

The current times are what they are Gabe. Take life what it throws at you and make it work for you and be your own man.

Every age has it's own positives and negatives. I got my first pocket knife and a BB gun on my 6th birthday. For my 7th I got a Remington single shot .22 . I'm not sure that is still legal anymore. Could take it out by myself any where on the ranch as long as it was just me, but if friends or family came over an adult had to accompany us on any outing. My how things change. Some good some , some not so much.

If you are living your life "correctly" and just one person adopts your kind of living you have changed the world and made it a better place! Can't ask for any better than that!

Also Gabe, don't know about your religious beliefs, but Jesus is very much a part of many lives here on the stage and many try to follow in his way. Some have opted not to believe and that is respected as well.

Sure we all have our faults and Jesus does have a sense of humor and no one on here is perfect. We live our lives and try and deal with what comes our way. In the future most of us will be a vague memory to you, so for now these are Your Good Old Days. Enjoy them young man.
