Had to go out of town earlier this week and join the busy real world of working in a semi retirement category which called for living in a hotel and eating fast food at the gulp and go pace. Don't make the $$$ when eating so eat and get back to work is the norm it appears.

So went to Wendy's first day for lunch and observed a 20 something chew out an older employee in front of all the customers about getting an order wrong. Being 10th in line and didn't want her attitude fixing my lunch went on to another 99 cent heart attack mom and pop burger place.

Day two went to Subway and observed 4 millennials in front of me. The first two were a couple that needed a room more than a bite to eat. The non English speaking food preparer asked them numerous times what they wanted on their sub. Didn't know deciding what cheese was such a chore for a groping lip locking young couple.

Next two in front of me were so engrossed in there phones that by the time foreign guy ask them what they wanted that neither knew what they wanted because they haven't looked at the menu which was right next to their shoulder. Decisions made back to looking at the phone and had to be called to the register after picking their pickle choices.

20 minutes of my 30 minute lunch gone I step up to the counter, 6" cold cut on wheat, no toasted, pepper jack thank you.

Its that easy millennials there are others in this world then your world on that darn phone.

Very glad you're back. Missed ya Plum. And I don't think it's so much that we went wrong, I think we got lost in the shuffle when everything else sped up. No time to think about anything but "me" anymore.

Thanks, jails not an option. Always believed in keeping my nose clean and don't like looking behind me. So straight and narrow is my path.

I missed conversing with so many of you guys but those 12+ hour days don't give much time for commenting when the fingers are much to big for using the phone. Reading is good typing is tuff.

My occasional job consist of sitting at a work bench and take 10 lbs of electronic crap and put it in a 5lb container that some one else said it works on paper. Brain tasking yes, physical labor is somewhat.

Shhhh Mickey those darn millennials are like rabbits. They're everywhere and a bunch of them cackling about politics like they have lived through it all drives me bananas. Ron's Gorrilla girl friend would be more entertaining.

Spirit did seem to enjoy those trips. Between Ron and Spirit they may want to join a circus or take up employment at a zoo. Spirit had me in high spirits reading those this week.

But what will be in the vending machines for Zoo Visitors to buy and feed them in the cages?

Sorry for the implication CDB. However you know how it goes, one bad apple and the whole darn bunch is bad. Just venting the other day. Us old folks get a bad rep now and then too. That's life.
