It should if you get the ones that are the feeding bait for trout. Between the color, action and the sound it should do quite well. If I could afford them I would buy a truck load. That's how much I believe in them. I knew where the ledge ran across this pond and I caught or got a hit on every cast. The times I didn't catch it was like multiple fish hitting it. If you try use it with confidence. Now sometimes the fish don't want any sound. If you will keep using it I promise you will catch fish on it. There are very few baits I have that much confidence in.

I think Ron and Billbyrd both work at BP. We need to find some cheaper than 18 bucks apiece though.

Nope and no kick backs. Yes I agree they need to be cheaper and I did not pay that much for them. Got them on clearance at wally world. They were charging the higher prices so I waited and they put them on sale and then clearance. I went around to any Walmart with in a few miles and I bought all I could afford. I relate it to what a friend told me about buying a car. If you will have patience the car you want will come to you. It has worked ever time I buy something expensive whether it be fishing lures, rods or cars and trucks but you have to have patience. Just bought a 2019 GMC SUV with everything on it for $21,000 dollars and our Toyota Camry as trade. Had 15,000 miles. It was a lease to a company. Our mechanic checked it out and said if we didn't buy it he wanted it. It was spotless and with service logs. Patience just like with fishing.

I've never had much luck with lures for trout, but then I don't usually target browns. That's a totally different critter from a rainbow. I caught a few with a pins minnow that I've thrown around docks and stuff like that. Usually panther martins and such work really well. Kastmasters are great too.
