Livingston Lures Walking Boss II Digital Electronic topwater lure
For years I have enjoyed the jitterbug, a top water lure made by Arbogast. With that said, I have been most productive when it begins to get dark, right after dark, and if very lucky, the fish will hit it all night.
A couple years ago, Livingston Lures came up with the Walking Boss II. It is pure genius, although I question if tournaments would ever allow it. With that said, for anyone who has not had the pleasure, the Walking Boss II, is a jitterbug, but with a few modifications. The first is that it has an acrylic clear plastic spoon, rather than a metal spoon. Secondly, it is a bit more streamlined and has 2 parts, so more of those really sticky sharp hooks. Lastly and most importantly, it has a digital component built into it. This creates three different sounds that attract fish. One sounds like a chirping and you can sense it on the water's top and the bas and everything else love it!
The ONLY problem I have had with this lure, is the plastic/acrylic spoon. I can not tell you how many times I have broken the plastic/acrylic spoons while I am fighting the fish in my boat, trying to get my lure out and the fish back into the water.

Hey LindyB, that sounds like a really good lure I might just haft to try one. By the way, please update your profile so we know where your from and don't haft to ask where you are fishin, witch is where?
A must-have for topwater technicians, the Livingston Lures Walking Boss generates a high-level of attraction with its distressed baitfish action and advanced electronic sound system. Built to saunter across the surface with ease, the Livingston Lures Walking Boss features a precise weighting that keeps it perfectly balanced as it moves back-and-forth.
Internally, the Livingston Lures Walking Boss really begins to shine with the implementation of an Advanced Rattle system and EBSMT (Electronic Baitfish Sound Multi-Touch) technology. Engineered to produce hard-pounding vibrations, the Advanced Rattle system uses an electronically driven frequency to stimulate the lateral lines of fish. Taking topwater attraction to unseen heights, the Livingston Lures Walking Boss will have you calling the shots on the water.
EBSMT Technolgy: On the cutting-edge of angling innovation, Livingston Lures’ latest offering is the first to utilize EBSMT Technology – an internal acoustic system that allows anglers to choose from four mouthwatering tones (EBS original, EBS Craw, EBS Shad, and Silent) to enhance their presentation. The Multi-Touch selection process makes it easier than ever to switch from sound-to-sound, simply submerge it in water to activate, hold the front line-tie and front hook hanger simultaneously and the lure will begin to cycle through tones.
Tones:
EBS Original – The tone that started it all, EBS original is the one used by Randy Howell to win the 2014 Bassmasters Classic on Lake Guntersville. Designed to imitate the sounds of a distressed baitfish, EBS original appeals to all species of fish and is capable of getting the job done in a wide-range of conditions.
EBS Craw – The second sound that you will hear when cycling through the EBSMT’s acoustics is the EBS Craw. Built to imitate the sounds of snapping shellfish, the EBS Craw sounds is especially effective anytime fish are feeding on crustaceans.
EBS Shad – When bass are chasing any type of baitfish, the EBS Shad is the sound that you want emitted. Designed to emulate the sound of frenzied baitfish, the EBS Shad is sure to keep your lines tight.
Silent Mode – Perfect for heavily pressured or finicky fish, the Silent Mode provides lures with a stealthy approach that will attract fish without spooking.

How much, and where? (I think Ron is a fishin tackle salesman at BP or somewhere.)
Is it 3X as effective as the Jitterbug? Cause it costs 3X as much. I don't bass fish anymore, but I remember that the Jitterbug could be deadly under the right conditions. Early morning or evening throw it up into or onto lily pads. Make a little commotion and there you go.
yes...absolutely would love to get one or three of these lures. Where are they available?
gonna check that site out....thanks
I did have 3 (down to 2) of the Livingston crank baits. They are great fishing lures and have caught several big fish and a lot of smaller fish with these lures. They activate when they land on the water by making a connection thru the water using the hook attachments. You can wet you fingers and touch the hook screws and you can hear the sounds. Lost one about a month back on a big fish when it wrapped the line around a dock post. I had just caught and released a 4 lb spot before losing it. Walmart carried them for a while and then put them on sale and that is when I bought 3. Will be buying some more. Thanks Ms. LindyB
gonna check out wally-world too, before the snow comes back here tomorrow......thanks again.
I am Upstate New York, the Finger Lakes, especially Keuaka Lake. Thank you for asking.
Are you not extremely cold, frozen and snowed in? Need to learn to catch cold water bass from you northerns. lol Hope your having a great day.
Just another gimmick to catch fishermen.
Jimmy this is one that is not a gimmick. Don't knock it till you try this one. I have caught a truck load of fish on these lures and will bet you money they will catch fish. I don't usually back a product but this one I will. You buy one and if you don't catch fish on it I will buy it from you. Now you do have to be in water that has fish in it before you say it doesn't work.
