On my 70th wedding anniversary ,I was asked to give my friends and family a brief account of a marriage of such long duration,
"Tell us Bobby,just what you learned from all those years with your wife?"
I responded"Well,I've learned that being married is a wonderful teacher.
It teaches you loyalty,meekness,forbearance,self-restraint,forgiveness and a great many other qualities
you wouldn't have needed if you had remained single"
