I would do dentures in a heart beat after what happen to the wife.

Doc drilled to far into the bone to set implant. Of course she didn't feel it until the nerve wrapped around the implant three weeks after the fact. Can't pull implant with out doing further damage. Thus fascial neuralgia and many meds is now the norm.

Well Randy,I have a few Titanium parts in my body and I need a few more. However, another complete left shoulder will have me to the point that exercising my arms by running my zipper up 'n down as needed will be about all the exercise either of those arms are good for anymore. After the right shoulder replacement my surgeon casually informed me that if I didn't restrict my lifting anything over 20-25 pounds I'd uninstall the screws that he'd put in me to hold that arm in place and their would be no 2nd fix. Nice aye? So I've substituted popcorn and started eating Advil because the Left shoulder is bone on bone too. And I love using my left arm for fly rod fishing and stripping line with my right sooooo? And I don't have the retirement funds to hire some sweet young lady to run that zipper up 'n down for me. Have I eleberated enough I hope. I could say just don't get old but the alternative isn't to my liking rite now either. Happy Trails and Tight Lines, Jer

I feel your pain, Jer. Sounds like we are in the same boat. I’ve had two shoulder surgeries(one still has a torn rotator cuff), I have a steel plate with screws in my back, and two bad knees, one that’s already been replaced. My ailments are mostly job related. Construction work for 55 years.

Since you worked for that many years it means you are a charter member of the old farts club! I'm not so sure I've made it that far yet. I think I'm just a old coot!

Yeah and when you’re young, you think you’re Superman and don’t need things like knee pads, wall jacks, sun screen, etc, etc. Hence the worn out body parts and melanoma. But I do still have all my fingers. Only got one in a saw once; cut a slot thru the end of it. Not bad for that many years. Plus had my own business for 39 years and not a single work comp. claim on any of my employees. Always put safety above profits.

" Always put safety above profits." Now that is some Good business sense. Tie that with fair prices, excellent workmanship, and one sleeps much better at night.
