I met my wife at the our old country church over 40 years ago. It didn’t have any running water just a path and a little out house behind it. The outhouse had two doors girls on one side and boys on the other. it just so happened that we went in at the same time being the boy I was I give her enough time to sit down and i stuck my head down the hole to get a peek and we met eye to eye. And we been together every sense.

Nope I was actually being myself putting tape in her hair and blaming a buddy.

Just celebrated 25. Hope for another 25 but at age 67 that’s not likely to happen. I got one of the great ones. She is a gourmet chef, a pastry chef, an accountant by trade ( retired ). We have built and remodeled several homes together and she can do all the trades. Most of them better than me. Even likes to go fishing with me on occasion. We have issues just like everyone else so I just make her a kamakazi in the evening and all is good. Lol.

Come March,2020 it'll be 20 years, alll of them good ones. I told her before we got hitched she'd need a sense of humor; she's hanging tuff!!! God bless her!!! We were both in our fifties so no kids; too late. She once told me I am addicted to fishing and I told her there are lots of worse things to be addicted to; she agreed. There have some "road bumps" in that time like cancer, heart attacks, etc. that just brought us closer. Life and God have been good!!!
