papers galore for wild Mustangs, my daughter bought 2 wild Mustangs pre-slaughter, took a long time training but it would bring tears if you saw them surefooted creatures carry my girl up the side of a steep mountainside.

They are the most loyal, honest and strong hearted creatures alive. If you become 'one of the herd' or are accepted by a wild, previously abused and emotionally scarred mustang, they will do anything for you. I don't even want to ride him at this point, and honestly I don't think he ever will be ridden. I am working with him to accept humans (especially males, as he was beaten half to death with a cattle prod during the Roundup by the ranchers) and maybe even like people again, not see them as a source of torture.
I have high hopes because he actually was following me around and ate out of my hand and that was within three hours of meeting.

(Sorry, a girl who loves horses and fishing doesn't know when to shut up.)

Family reunion, Disney.

Clarification on relation.

Just jokin.

It is wonderful to vist and a few of my relatives are quacky.

I get to spend a week with the Wicked Witch of the West and her horde of flying monkeys, or maybe Ursula and the eels. My Mom (choose the worst witch) has invited my husband and I to join the side of the family that has pretty much had nothing to do with me, my highly autistic son and my husband for the late 12 years. What makes it better is my brother and his common law wife and their four perfect children are going as well and needless to say we don't get along.

Long story shorter, she is paying for airfare, hotel and 4 day park hopper tickets and you can't turn that shit down 😝. Hubby and I will just make ourselves scarce.

Me too! I am looking forward to rehabbing him and helping him find his forever home.

Be careful with ones that try and buy you back! Never trusted my folks bad money, moms dead and brother died too as well as their money. Spent it all trying to keep the old fart alive, all gone with nothing to show for it! Stick with rehabbing horses, they need help with a tender nature and respect you back!

I am sorry to hear your story, sounds like you are still pretty sore about it.
I have rehabbed everything from domestic cats and dogs to farm animal to truly wild animals such as redtail hawks and foxes. Loved working with animal rescue and the ASPCA, but the amount of euthanasia I had to perform became too much, broke my heart and I had to quit. Now I volunteer with all the free time I have being unemployed and disabled, lol.
