Good morning all. Graywullf mentioned we were all above ground so it got me to wondering if one of us passed how would the rest of us find out? Donโ€™t mean to put a damper on the holidays but if it happens Iโ€™m sure we would all like to pay our respects. With that being said I hope everyone has a great thanksgiving!

Fish Dancer your concern is out there by many. One suggestion is to exchange by way of the Pm your personal email to one or some of the stage members that you may correspond with regularly. Advantage is the obvious that you mention and the other so that friendships are continued in the case this forum goes down.

I enjoy fishing for just about anything. I love eating most fish too, so mine never gets wasted. I guess he was just disappointed with catching something that weighs a few pounds vs. a hundred pounds. I told him we would schedule something for next year, maybe some snapper fishing, in the middle weight class...LOL
I would like to wish you all a happy holiday and safe season.

I bet it could ruin a fella.

But that said crappie sure do eat good.

A whole lot better than the shark. Most of them pee out through their skin when caught.

IMO, crappies are more fun to catch too. Big sharks are a lot like have a good snag. If they are big, I'll just cut my line. I don't fish for them but they will take the fish that I have on my line. They are a pain in the butt.

Thanks OZ, she's getting a little better, she had 2 mini strokes, Thankfully just slightly off balance at times, she's a tough girl, also battles RA and Lupus. The Lord blessed me with a good wife, she looks after this old fart!! Tight lines everyone!!!

You want to feel what its like to catch a shark. Troll about 4 knots, tie a rod to a 5 gal. bucket, throw it over, let it fill and sink. We use to do this when somebody would fall asleep on the boat. Holler fish on, give them the rod and watch. It wasn't funny to them.
