Both patterns, dipped in eggs and milk rolled in two parts cornflake crumbs one part flowers and season with lemon pepper you can’t tell them apart.

Around the country they are called different names but it sure looked like what is called crappie here.


That is definitely a White Crappie. I’ve caught enough to assure you of that. That one is about 2 to 2-1/2 pounds.

Where ya been fishing WVMIKE. I went wed on the muskingum again caught 3 catfish I keeper lol. Went yesterday and got skunked lol

I know the crappie, are the others sauger and walleye. I'm from eastern NC, they aren't around here. I have seen in magazines and tv, but not by looking at them personally. Have heard they are great eating also! Would love to have those fillets, fried and laid across a plate for lunch today!!

I caught them out of the Hughes river not far from where I live I think I’m going to try the muskingum next at Marietta for sauger saugeyes and walleye
