We trained our dogs to not bark at every little sound. Our neighbors dogs are another issue. Shopped around bark control devices and found this PetSafeĀ® Outdoor Dog Bark Control in local pet store. Looks like a bird house and really limits neighbors loud mouth dogs at 5:30 am potty break.

We had a neighbor that the dog was one of those little yappers barked all day at everything from blowing leaves to kids getting off of the school bus.

Well one day while working on the truck I had drained the gas tank and the last little bit was in dripping underneath the truck into a small container.

Went in to have lunch and of course little yap had the run of the neighborhood and just let the tank drain before doing anymore with it.

Came back out to hear a sound from under the truck and not really concerned did not rush right to it. ON and on it went sounds like a lapping sound when an animal drinks from a bowl.

Low and behold there was yap lapping that gasoline up like it was the last bit of liquid on earth. Knowing this can not be good for him I scurried him away and with the motion of super dog he took off at 100mph.

Ran and ran for what seemed like forever. Into the woods, up the hills, in and out of the dog house oh he went for all the leaves. Then suddenly he stops, changes direction and starts running in circles round and round he went and nothing could stop him.

So I thought. Just like someone turned the lights off, he stopped leaned to one side and that I am heart broken to say was it for little yap.

No he didn't die, just ran out of gas.

Gary : To add photos, you need
to hit 'Reply'; you can't access
that function from 'Quick reply' ! Scroll down from message box
to 'File search' (or some such), click on it and your phone should bring you to your photo page;
click on selected photo, then
click on 'Add Attachment' and
you should be good to go ! Different phones may have
slightly different procedures,
but they're usually similar
enough to figure out fairly
quickly, even for those of us
who are not 'tech savvy' !

Your neighbor probably posted your picture and misfortune on FB. And then the whole world can not laugh at you but hopefully with you.

If I get to the point I can no longer laugh at myself, throw dirt in my face.

Laughing is a good thing.

So what you are saying is your the type of person while walking along you walk right smack into a pole, of course while texting.

You bounce off, pick your self up and wonder who in the world put that ^%$*!)$ pole there and start laughing.

Instead of being the person all embarrassed and to look around and see who saw that.

Teatherball pole woke up in the nurses in grade school, had a goose egg and no Idea what happened.

I would eventually laugh if texting and did it these days.

Also have you noticed that when you fall, you always look around in embarrassment to see if anyone is watching you.
