try pulling cranks 20 to 35' using snap weights in the finnley flats area.using bait also works but you will spend alot of time dealing with perch .

try at night trolling cranks over the tops of submerged trees east of the marina ask scott collingsworth at the marina he would definitely know he guides there. He may be focused on salmon and lake trout right now . plenty of opportunities ! Good Luck !

I will be fishing in Banks Lake (Washington) in a couple weeks. I have never been there so if anyone can suggest a location and/or presentation, that would be awesome. I have an inflatable boat with elec.Trolling motor so anything near Steamboat Rock is a bonus. I live in northern California now and it's been too long since I've caught and tasted Walleye. Cmon guys... show me some love.

I was there over the labor day weekend did well trolling cranks in 20 to 25' . bandits work well 80' to 100'out will put you at that depth I fished mostly in the poplar pt. area but with your boat set up I am not sure how you would get there? you might try the submerged railroad tracks in the devils playground ?
Good Luck!

thanks for the info ! I fished barkers and steamboat areas and did very well 7 to 16 ft . Barkers held the fish a little shallower but we probably caught 5 smallmouth for every walleye. Steamboat to the island held bigger fish and far fewer smallies.
