Hey Bob, I wish I could help but I’m in the same boat (no pun intended) I’ve tried dodgers, flashers, hoochies, plugs, red corn, yellow corn, shrimp…… hell Im about to try a worm and a bobber! But I haven’t tried parking on top and jigging for them yet. I know the temps are quite warm down to about 90’. I was seeing around 60.9F. Perhaps we need to go deeper still?
Lucky peak has been ok but I think the heat and constant pressure from the water skiers/jet skiers is taking its toll. Today was the first day I have been skunked there. snake river… Swan falls area has been good. Have you tried arrow rock res? I haven’t yet. Hoping it’s better.
Fisherman or people playing? Arrow rock and lucky peak tough to fish on the weekends! Have to at sun up! But it seems the fishing has been better there in the evenings…..in my experience anyway.
We’ve been seeing them from the dam for about a half mile up the reservoir. They’re still scattered and you have to put in the time to find them but they are there. We were there for about 4 hours this evening and landed 6 and a few rainbows. Lost another 4 but I just know they were kokes! Lol have to fight for room against the jet skiers and go fast guys
We caught one with a perch rapala. We were fishing for rainbow when we got her. But usually I drop shot them with a white and black Gulp minnow with a maggot on the tip of the hook.
I think when the water level finally gets consistent it will get better. It went up 15’ or so in 2 weeks and water was very murky. That ain’t helping!

Same here. Fished for about 3 hours and had one strike and didn’t see many at all. Still at least a few weeks away!
I was just looking for a fishing report for the lakes and river and reservoirs near me and this forum kept coming up. But it’s just a sad stupid attempt to sell ads. Why can’t I find a friggin fishing report site that doesn’t have half naked women “in my area” asking me to give them a call? Or chat with them. Or a bunch of ads trying to get me to buy shit. That aside, I put in my area and I get fishing reports for ponds in frickin Michigan?? Props to those of you trying to make this site useful, and I did try too. But it’s just a waste of time and really annoying.
