I know a guy that had too many brews while beach fishing caught his first blue held it like a bass for pics. It took a couple min. To figure out what was dripping off his elbow. Lol
They haven't tried bowfishin but I'm sure it's on their agenda
Your doing them a great favor! We can only hope that they carry on the tradition
Thanks, that's what life is all about.
I've definitely been blessed
Yeah, definitely! My daughter can't keep them from the woods or water if they aren't fishing they're archery hunting.
Thanks really happy to hear they let them both go.
I was told it's not bragging if it's true... my grandson when he was just starting fishing at age 7 couldn't even touch a minnow or worm. But he kept going they moved to the next town over so we didn't get to go out as much than I hurt my back so that ended most of my fishing n hunting. My daughter's 3 boys kept going themselves hitting small streams around they're small pa. Town. They all are turning out to be good fishermen on they're own now at ages 10 ,15 ,18 are proving to be very self reliant, hard working individuals. The other day I received some pics from them holding trout from a small stream that I didn't think they stocked anymore because of water levels
Sorry never fished the kern, we fish the juniata river and small streams around home
Here in pa. There fed pellets at the hatchery, id argue the best is wax worms, flies or mayfly nymph, but my grandsons have proved me wrong over n over they take a piece of white bread rollit between their fingers push a hook into it and wham! Trout fillets

There is a creek near my house, which has a sizable amount of rainbow trout. I've tried power bait and worms, but I haven't had much success. Any suggestions?

Bread balls, work great for stocked trout
