3/8 oz jigs heavy enough with all the rain and runoff? Plan to fish next starting Monday.
Back home in WI. Time to concentrate on the rivers.
Well it was along slow week. Did manage a few fish. Jigging was the most successful but small 16” males. Very dirty water out of Turtle Creek. Caught bigger fish north of Kelly’s Island. Cleaner water there.
Bandits back 80’ at 1.1 was our best combinations.
Yes as we are searching for some wall hangers. We had a 28 1/2 today that is still swimming.
I was out from Muziriks this AM till wind blew us off. Water temp was 42. Ended with 2. Still very muddy.
Wow that slow with cranks? Don’t think I have every trolled cranks under like 1.5.
Yes I love to jig and will hopefully be able to get out and do some. Going with two others that like to troll first so we will adjust as needed. Thanks for the feedbacks.
Agree with you that Reef Runners are known to run off track. It’s really too bad because overall the baits catch fish/are made well/look good/solid hooks ect. I even give them credit for the names they come up with.
I have the Reef Runner tuning tool to tune the baits so they run straight. I just get frustrated as they seem to go out of tune easily. (Excaggerated) But catch a fish on a Reef Runner and it seems like you have to retune it.
Thanks for your input. I have some of all those baits except the P 10s. What size/depth/ colors works best? I have several Reef Runners (800 series?) but struggle with getting/keeping them running straight.
WWW.Supervisor from WI heading to Erie to walleye fish starting 3/26 for the first time. What cranks should I bring or purchase?
