I saw a FB post that talked about area 21 or 23... something like that... I drove thru one day and saw some folks catching there.

I have a little inflatable with trolling motor. I generally start on the west side by where the power lines cross, and work my way up towards the dam. Keeping to the edge of the grass. As I mentioned before, keep your eye out for the baitfish jumping. Also the birds diving down on them. Mostly lots of smaller fish 18"-20". Good luck. Hope to get down there soon again myself.

Yeah...I hope to get up there again soon.
Thanks for the info, bro. Tight lines.

I haven’t been there for a few months, but have had some great days there. Mostly catching strippers on a silver bass assassin twitch bait. Fishing the grass edges. Keep an eye open for them chasing bait fish, and throw one in.
It can get very windy so be careful.

Are you bank fishing or from your boat?
I have a Bass Tracker... you're right, the wind can make it tricky.
Thanks for the heads up.

Seeking any input for fishing in the local waters between Castaic Lake, California and Sacramento River area in No. California. Any, all serious input is appreciated. All species targeted, especially striper, bass and crappie... would also like to learn about sturgeon fishing in these areas.
Thanks in advance. Tight lines!
