Hi, I’m relatively new to fishing Florida waters. I’m wondering about fishing around the marches along the Inter-coastal Waterway in the Jacksonville Beaches (Ponte Vedra) area of northeastern Florida. Anyone have experience doing this? How did it work? Should I be concerned about Alligators potentially bothering me in a small craft like a kayak?

I did catch one red fish the other day and my grandson caught a toad fish - ugly looking creature.
