The Gasconade River has flathead opportunities.
Anybody have any tips for bass fishing at Mark Twain lake this year? I'm headed up there next weekend with a buddy for the first time. Looks like alot of standing timber and was thinking plastic worms, jigs, maybe crankbaits would be successful? Also considered rigging up a top water, tis the season.
Any info is appreciated.

Hi all. Fairly new to the forum. Avid fisherman but still have plenty to learn at 28. Was wondering what size weights are recommended for river fishing targeting catfish?. I fish primarily lakes and have used nothing above 1oz egg sinkers. Looking to get out on the river in my new jon boat this year. Any advice is much appreciated
