Yea but they let some water back into it and stocked it with bass and panfish, the pickerel just survived throughout it ig
They are smaller but still can get to the 10 lb range
That one Im positive isn’t the case anymore, deal lake is where I cut my teeth as an angler and while there used to be huge bass and carp, the shitty-ness of the lake proved to be to much for the fish these past two years. Not much of anything in there anymore

How’s everyone doing, I’ve been doing a lot of freshwater fishing this winter. Especially in lake takanassee it’s been mainly pan fish and small bass but in this past week I’ve hooked into 4 pickerel one being over 3 pounds, needless to say they caught my Interest and if anyone has some advice for targeting these fish please share
