Just saw this posted regarding a 60#+ Muskie caught on Green Bay on Dec 7. 55” with a 29 1/2” girth (no scale). The length x length x length / 2700 puts it at about 61#
That is a good one, for sure!
Caught on a figure 8 technique, using a Bulldawg in 20’ of water.
The fish was released.

This is a Lizard Fish (Florida Lizard Fish) common in brackish saltwater all through Florida! They are quite common to most experienced Florida fishermen! There are 2 types--the Banded Lizard Fish and the Spotted Lizard Fish. I suggest buying the book "The Fisherman's Guide to Florida Saltwater Fish "before" going fishing in Florida--it will enlighten you as to what you can keep (or what you can't), and may also keep you from getting seriously ill from eating or handling some species that are extremely poisonous!

I confess that I sort of cheated. When I can’t identify a fish I snap a picture, or in this case a screenshot. Then I bring it up in google photos and there’s a symbol at the bottom of the screen that looks like a square with rounded corners and a dot in the middle. When you click on that symbol google will search for pictures that resemble your picture. I find that most times the first picture that it shows is the correct one.
I find myself using it often since I moved down to Florida three years ago. I lived up north in Pennsylvania and I had never seen or heard of most of the fish I started catching down here. I find it to be a very handy tool for IDing fish and other wildlife and things in general. So it’s not just for IDing fish.

Prayers to your friend in Iceland—beautiful country. For the first fish, it looks like a smallmouth buffalo (Ictiobus bubalus). We used to catch them in Kansas when I was growing up.

Thanks Bryan

First picture is a carp what type I don't know as I fish mostly salt water. The second one is a trumpet fish basically a large tropical fish, the third you got right a Hogfish AKA Hog Snapper this fish is actually a Wrasse. Very interesting fact on Hogfish they can change their sex to meet the demand for reproduction when the balance of sexes is out of sink:

Thanks JOS

Nice pictures thank you,
