I usually fish for kimgs in pulaski NY
They are bigger and chadimg them down river is exausting. But fun
They average 25 to 45 pounds with females on.the higher 30 35 pound range
Season lasts from.when they come in october, then leave in.december, but it never officially ends, you can catch them anytime you want.
The down side is they taste like crap unless smoked. I just grab two and look for a big brown for my third fish
You can catch and release all day if you want as long as you only keep 3 on the stri.ger, then your done
Love it!!!

So true about both replies
All mine have been silver as a steelie. Ripped out gills. Bled and iced.
Thanks for your replies

I eat a lot of salmon. Mostly chinook
Over the fast few weeks been getting a lot of pinks at Dash Point
I think they are better than kings. Like previous have stated. Its all personal taste
