Caught a few crappie today with my brother in law. Fishing Lake Chemung. Had a nice pike next to the boat but a little slow with the net and it broke off. Tight lines Brothers and Sisters

Hi and welcome! I’ve fished Flat Rock park a few times and I’ve done well with a small jig and some sort of plastic tail tipped with some live bait such as red worms or night crawler. In fact a friend and I caught quite a few about two weeks ago. Best of luck to you. You will hang up a little bit with the jigs but it’s hard to fish where the fish are without hanging up every now and then. Again good luck.

Hi there and welcome. There are a few places to go in Genesee county that I know of. If you’re familiar with Mott Lake near the little town of Genesee and a much larger body of water in Holloway Reservoir out off of M-15 with numerous places to bank fish. There is a spot to river fish off of Irish Rd north of Davison. There are many more but those two will get you started

Just saying hi to everyone! Avid fisherman especially ice fishing. I’m in Michigan and we’re right on top of a new season. I think so anyway at least in northern Michigan. If anyone has an ice report on Houghton Lake that would be great I’m planning a trip up one week from today. Can’t wait to get to know some of you.
