Does the crappie taste different from Md than here in the South. That's a nice size and amount for my plate. LoL

I love to fish,I was raised on fishing but a lot of which I was taught wrong as a child of the techinque & correct way to legally take fish out of anybody of water here in the sportsman's paradice area of Gilbert, Louisiana.
Where I was raised & still residence.
I was raised on flag webbing w/2" or smaller mesh . I also didnt know any limit on size or possession. My father was a master of this type fishing. But he has passed away in 2012
And so has my father in law which was a great Bass fisherman. Who knew the laws and regulations on how to fish legally. Which inherited his fishing equipment and etc.
So plz understand that I'm very interested in following the rules and procedures. Enough said
