I fish Lake Mi n local smaller lakes... panfish, bass, perch, bluegills, crappie (we call em special bass) pike, suckers, bullheads, occasional steelhead... whutevrrs bitin.
USN Viet Vet, 66-67, Danang/China Beach area...
LMK If more info needed... train trip to NOLA, Then east to ft walton bch, fl planned fer april 9-18...
Down the road (don't remember which road) , there's a trout pond, cane poles, stinkbait, guaranteed catch, dollar an inch, they clean em, ... typical. Fish tasted good w onions n lemon on the grill....not much sport, good eatin'.
My wife says go all you can, catch all we can eat, but i'm not touchin' 'em till they don't look like fish anymore! (In other words til I've scaled/skinned/gutted n filletted, n probly breaded 'em too!) She does a helluva job from then on... best fried perch/bluegills/bullheads/northern pike/bass, etc. In the family!
Staying @ Eastwood in provincetown, can travel up/down/off cape fer anyting biting. Tks fer any advice/tips/bait/rigging, etc. Dave

Like to go clammin @ tksgiving week. Would appreciate any advice re fishin þhe rest of my wk vacation, clam Sunday ( weather n tides permitting), surf fishin if anyting likely to bite n where?
Been goin to ptown @ tksgiving fer several yrs now ... specifically to go clammin on Sunday (we arrive on sat) then maybe again on friday if weather/tide does not permit on Sun,. Wish i could fish the surf during the week. Bait? Rigging? Tides? Types of fish? locations? Bait shopz/license req?
I got waders, surf gear (8' rod, 30 lb test), used to pyramid sinkers up to 3 oz,
Rod holders , also lighter gear fer fishin in the soup, n plenty of beer.
Suggestions welcomed, my expertise (riiiight) is panfish on lakes, ice fishin on same, (northern pike, bass, bluegills, perch, crappie, suckers, bullheads, etc.)
