So Dave, I surmise that by now you're pretty well plugged into the fishing scene around Sea Ranch. wonder if you got in on the great rock and lingcod fishing I keep hearing about north of Ocean Cove. I'm so slammed with responsibilities lately I'm lucky to get away and fish for more than three hours at a time, but I do manage to fish locally a couple times a week near home in Bodega Bay. I must say that this hit or miss way to fish has forced me to be more on the ball if I want to catch even enough for dinner. I'm a surf fishing lifer, addicted one might say, but when time allows me to wet a line I'll fish anywhere with whatever it takes to get fresh fish on our plates at home. The La Nina' effect has seemed to me to have greatly effected normal patterns. Blah-blah...... Anywhoo, my usual haunts are between Dillon Beach And Goat Rock, and I don't usually fish more than a few miles away from Bodega Head, due to lack of time. The finger is on the pulse of my entire zone, so to speak, so feel free to get the scoop here whenever. I hope to find time this winter to do some overnighters up your way, might call on you then.
