The big one was 46” with a girth of 24” and the other was 42” with a girth of 21”, I’m having both of them mounted, check out my wall,,

It was getting down to the 60’s in the evening and a little cooler on the river, but it’s been in the upper 90’s and 100’s all week. using a papa Pete glide bait,

I bought a Hiroshima lure, it costs $250, haven’t caught anything on it yet probably because i rarely use it due to the anxiety of losing it, big bait big fish ,,,,,

I was throwing a large jitterbug, but I think they’ll hit almost anything, jerkbaits, crankbaits, swimbaits, always work good. right before sunset seems to work good for me, the water is like glass and the bass are very active, you can see the water boil underneath your lure, absolutely amazing.

Pit river, got this one in a cove before arbuckle flat, topwater right before sunset. I think they’ll hit anything, just use a slow retrieve and hang on,,,,,

I’ve caught some really nice fish right there by the dock at jones valley, or bailey cove is another good spot, good luck.
