Hi Kandy , it’s my understanding that after growing mushrooms and reading more about them is that there mycelium which is basically the roots of the mushrooms spreads all throughout the forest floor that connects the trees in a large network kind of like the World Wide Webb. Under a microscope, the mycelium kind of looks like the neurotransmitters in our brain. Or maybe I just had one to many beers 😂
